ABEZ has a history 125 years long and roots in Istanbul. There, in the 1880's, the shoe maker K. Mikas used to serve pasta to the customers of his store, while they were waiting for their shoes to be repaired! Soon pasta lovers took… the lead and the shoe store was transformed into a pasta bakery. In 1926, the industry was transferred to Thessalonica and ever since the brand has been dominant in the market throughout Northern Greece.

Thessalonians' favourite pasta can be found in a wide variety of macaroni, slim and thick pastries, Macedonian noodles, tagliatelle and vermicelli.
